portal de la marquesa is the perfect place for a couple. the suite was exactly as advertised, and we loved the privacy of our own pool. the breakfasts were delicious, with fresh fruit juice and local dishes like arepa de huevo. Everything was so close. the dining room was beautiful and inviting, making it a great spot to interact with other guests.

The inside could use a little upgrade!!! Maintenance seemed lacking in several areas!!! Also disappointing that there weren't more options beyond breakfast, like snacks or drinks!!! Atmosphere could improve with more energy from the staff!!!

Had an awesome group getaway! The staff were super friendly, always ready to help. We loved the beautiful decor and clean rooms. Free WiFi worked great, which was perfect for some of us who needed to work. Don't miss out on the breakfast at the communal table – it’s a nice touch!

We did notice the small pool wasn't ideal for swimming, as it was quite small and colder than the main pool.
